Across the Pacific Northwest — same as yesterday. A scant few plucky birds brave the weather and push ahead. I don’t see this changing over the next couple of days either. Those that can find a hole have the benefit of a bit of a tail wind though.

Here is Paul’s archived National Radar Composite from yesterday. Seriously, look at the wind map, and then the radar. That huge wave of birds headed up the Central Flyway are riding the power of the wind. One big massive free ride from Brownsville to Grand Forks.
