Light winds, from the south as a small trough enters the area, and clear skies. Perfect night to head north!
A pretty strong flight with returns up to 20 dBZ to our north. Looking closely at the Reflectivity loop; just at the end of the loop there is a small pocket of birds headed back to the Sauvie Island area – coming from the north. Possibly an aborted trip or, “hey, lets turn around and put down back there. It looked like a nice place.”?
