23 September 2013 Migration Report

OK, i’m back from vacation so i’ll see if i cant get this up to date.

Thankfully that will be easy.  Southwest winds associated with a low pressure system has grounded most migrants for the past couple of days.  A few plucky ones will pick their way between the squalls – but not many.

Another low pressure cell is spinning up in the Gulf of Alaska that i’m watching now.  It will keep the well head of migrants on the ground for a bit.  It’s not clear if it will move in quickly, but if it does we may have continuing south winds for a while.

Here is the Regional Composite for last night.
