Look closely at the Reflectivity loop about an hour after the sun strobe and you’ll see some brave little birds dodge the rain cells and take to the sky. But mostly it was a non-event last night. The low pressure system has brought some rain which will dampen migration plans. The winds are out of the south and i would expect opportunists to take advantage of them when able, like our brave little friends last night.
Nationally: hot spot in Brownsville; behind the frontal system from the Ohio Valley to New England, here and there birds were on the move.
I’m taking the weekend off but will post a weekend recap on Monday.
