Another night much like most nights this season — a moderate and steady flow of migrants overhead.  Another heavy flight across the Straight from Vancouver Island was picked up by the Seattle (ATX) radar.

Only development is a wicked low pressure system building in the North Pacific.  So far it is not factoring into forecasts but worth keeping an eye on.  If it dips our way it will bring strong southerly winds and possible precipitation which will ground the birds to our north for a while.
