Moderate to heavy migration was seen last night.  There were some 25 dBZ returns on the east side.  Not many, and not prolonged but at this point any high density readings are a bonus.

The relatively slow passerine migration this year is also reflected in the banding totals up in BC at the Tatlayoko Lake Bird Observatory.  2012 is turning out to be their lowest count year on record since 2006.  Read about it here.
