Just a quick post before heading out into the field.
Winds remain out of the NW but last night they didn’t get above 7 knots. And after a day off yesterday the birds along the Pacific Flyway were in heavy migration. Locally we had heavy returns on both sides of the valley. Should be a day of turnover. Although if you watch the loop you can see east side birds in the main, moving out of the area, while west side birds are moving into the area. It will be interesting to see the reports tomorrow – if any.
The Medford area, the Central Valley, and SoCal all had solid returns last night.
