Well, well, well. Take a couple of days off and now there is too much to catch up on. The last couple of days have seen heavy migration in the Portland area. Despite the light winds out of the north the birds pushed onward.
DRAT! WordPress just ate my post and i don’t have the time to rewrite it. Suffice it to say things are looking good for migration. Biggest news is the heavy returns on the KMAX – Medford radar, up into the 25 dBZ range and that is a LOT of birds. Take a look at the regional composite. They are headed our way and should be in the area over the next couple of days.
The weather is forecasted to be migrant friendly over the next week.
