Sun 15 April 2012 – PNW Migration

Local conditions, while not ideal, proved better than i expected yesterday.  There was nothing really hampering migration last night so birds were in the air.  Lots of replacement birds to join those leaving.  Those onesy twosy sightings like swifts should be joined today.  Looks like a good day in the field.  Even Medford had birds in the air.

Nationally we have some interesting weather/bird interactions.  Plenty of potential for concentrating events.  Watch the national composite loop here.
