OK. I’m getting ready to head out into the field so just a quick local post.
Birds were on the move last night. Heaviest densities were out of the area but some replacement birds can be seen moving in. Lack of density probably has to do with staging as birds have been hunkering down waiting out the recent weather.
Birds can be seen in the air pretty much up and down the Pacific Flyway last night – where there is radar coverage. Still very light in the Medford area and there was some weather along the OR/CA border at the coast. Could be some pretty good conditions for getting out there this morning.
