Just a quick post as i’m headed out into the field today.

You can pretty much read yesterday’s post.  the Same dynamics continue for the Pacific Northwest and the rest of the United States.  Slow shifts eastward of the weather displaces migration patterns from one location to the other.

Still over all migration is light except on the gulf coast.  Portland has more birds leaving than filling in behind, as can be seen by the velocity plot.
