Across the flyways the birds march north. Oddly the greatest density was seen by the radars in N Dakota?
Locally we had some, not much, movement. You can see the Northern trajectory from the velocity plot.
The Pacific flyway is definitely the laggard so far this season. It’s never very spectacular comparatively. But even by our standards it’s been a very light to non-existent migration so far. Anyway, it’s still early in the season and the weather has been a major factor so far.
